What is full spectrum CBD?

When you hear the term 'full spectrum' as it relates to CBD, it means that all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids of the plant are present in the product.

Even when there are only trace amounts of other minor cannabinoids (including THC) the whole composition is called 'full spectrum'.

Full spectrum CBD is known to deliver 'the entourage effect' which means that the whole range of naturally occurring cannabinoids work together in synergy, rather than in isolation.

So by working in synergy with other naturally occurring cannabinoids and compounds, like terpenes and flavinoids, the effects of CBD are boosted.

Full spectrum CBD products should contain the following:

  • CBD
  • Terpenes
  • Flavinoids
  • Other cannabinoids
  • Fatty acids

To get the entourage effect, you will want to avoid products that are labelled 'isolate' because that is a process that only extracts cannabidiol (CBD) from the hemp plant, and you are therefore getting just one cannabinoid - albeit the most important one (as far as we know).

Benefits of Full Spectrum CBD

It’s totally natural - it is taken from the whole plant, just as Mother Nature intended.

It doesn’t get you high - Full spectrum CBD taken from the hemp plant contains less than 0.2% of THC, the cannabinoid that creates the 'high' associated with marijuana.

Other benefits - Scientists have only scratched the surface of the incredible benefits and effects of the hemp plant's many cannabinoids and the entourage effect they create when working in synergy.

All of Natural Strains CBD products are full spectrum so our customers can enjoy a broader spectrum of CBD and take advantage of the entourage effect.
