What is THC?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is one of many cannabinoid compounds found in the cannabis plant. It is the principal psychoactive compound that gives users the feeling of being 'high'.

From a biological perspective scientists think THC is the cannabis plant's self defence against insects and environmental stress. It has almost the exact same chemical makeup of CBD, but they act very differently.

The Hemp plant is very low in THC and high in CBD, making the extracted oil and flowers of this plant highly beneficial, while avoiding the psychoactive effects.

Marijuana has a high THC content, which is why most recreational users prefer it.

Even though THC has some benefits, the side effects can cause make it difficult to go about your daily life. They can also be worse for some users than for others.

CBD is only legal in the UK if the THC content is below 1mg or less per closed container, which is true for all of Natural Strain's products.
